Welcome to my blog!

I’m an aspiring author with some rough draft novels under my belt that I’m in the process of editing for publication. I also have some short fiction (including flash) that I’ve begun submitting to different markets. I’ve completed National Novel Writing Month 3 times, and I’m a regular contributor to the #fridayflash on Twitter. Please check out my short fiction on my blog. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband since high school, and now I stay home to ‘virtual school’ my very bright little boy. My son has recently started posting his own short fiction in his new blog. He also hopes to be (among other things) an author someday.

In addition to my publishing goals, I’d like to continue my education to earn a degree in library science. I’m an avid bibliophile, animal lover, Twitter user, vegan, and chocoholic.
