My Writing Niche- Episode #41: Nanowrimo Strategies & Practice

Play or download episode *here*

Welcome to My Writing Niche, a podcast for new writers. In honor of Nanowrimo- National Novel Writing Month, I’m once again talking about tips and strategies for writing a novel in 30 days.

In today’s podcast I mention some things that might be helpful to you as you write your rough draft novel, including an episode of the podcast Writing Excuses that talks about Hollywood Formula, as well as the podcast I Should Be Writing and past episodes of the Nanowrimo Podcast. I also talk about things you can do for practice to get those creative juices flowing, such as participating in #FridayFlash and  #SpokenSunday.

Some listeners might also benefit from checking out Chuck Wendig‘s blog post, 25 things you should know about Nanowrimo, for his reflections on November’s madness. Others might care to flex their fingers at freetypinggame.net for some constructive play.

Thank you, as always, for your time. Polite feedback is both welcomed and appreciated. Next week I’ll be talking more about preparing for Nanowrimo. Until then, have a lovely week.
